Who can apply for Maruti Suzuki Accelerator?
Any startup with ideas that are innovative and cost-effective can apply for the Maruti Suzuki Accelerator. However, the applications go through a screening process and the ones that best fit the bill are shortlisted. Refer to the Our Program Structure section for more details.

Can startups from outside India apply to program?
Yes, startups from across the globe are welcome to apply to our program, provided they maintain at least one operational branch within India to qualify for consideration.

How long is the program?
The duration of program is approximately 4 months.

How does the application process work?
The application process involves completing an online form on the Maruti Suzuki Innovation website, where you detail your product, market, team, business model, traction, and roadmap. You may also describe a potential use case with Maruti Suzuki. After submission, the innovation team reviews your application.

What stage should the startup be to apply to
Maruti Suzuki Accelerator ?
Maruti Suzuki Accelerator prefers to engage with startups that have gone past the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage with a few customers already using the product. It has also engaged with startups that have gone past Product-Market fit.

How detailed should my application be?
Your application should encapsulate a comprehensive business plan, articulating your business concept and market potential with clarity and precision to ensure it is accessible to those unfamiliar with your work. As evaluators with a penchant for data-driven insights, we base our decisions on growth KPIs and the depth of information presented in your application form, pitch deck, and supplementary videos.

The shortlisted candidates will be contacted once the applications are opened for the next Cohort.

funding?
Yes, of course. Please include details regarding past rounds of financing in your application.

Do you only foster automobile startups?
No. Maruti Suzuki Accelerator also supports startups with technologies, solutions or services that might be used in mobility & automobile space. Please mention in your application, on how you think your startup could contribute to this area.

What is the cost of joining Maruti Suzuki
Accelerator?
For Startups, participation in Maruti Suzuki Accelerator is free. Maruti Suzuki does not take any equity from the ventures, which are part of this program.
